PS3 ERROR MESSAGE8001050F

Hello to all my fellow PSN fans, I'm gamer tag SPAZO69 on PSN; I too am having the same issues as most of you all with error message 8001050F. I am here to officially post to you all that I have taken the time to call Playstation Support. After speaking with their technician, the problem is on their end, rests assure as long as you are getting that error message only, (8001050F) your consoles are not broken at all. Don't even format your hard drive like I did, you will lose everything and the error message will still be there. The problem is according to the technician is somehow some way a bug leaked out their servers causing first and second generation ps3s to crash-it is more software related than hardware. They are working on a solution, the technician did say that if needed too, they will have all the ps3's affected by this sent to them for repair at no cost to us but they're not anticipating this to be a solution. So everybody, don't give up on your console, don’t go wasting money unnecessarily buying a slim unless your pockets are fat like that, just sit it out, give them the benefit of the doubt, things happen, for the most part, I think we all can agree that the playstation 3 is a very solidly built console and Sony always stand behind their products unlike Microsoft and their poorly designed xbox360. If anyone wants to call for themselves and speak to a technician for their own peace of mind, call them at (800) 345 7669. Make sure you have your model and serial number ready when you call. Well that’s it, that’s the story I got directly from Sony. Good luck to you all.
