Hi Just had a Carrier Infinity 96 (40000BTU) installed a few months ago in our 1500 sq ft home. My wife likes to keep our bedroom window open at night for fresh air, which, of course, cools down the house. Before going to bed, we turn down the thermostat to 15 degrees celsius. We turn it back to 20 degrees in the morning after closing the window. The problem is that it takes several hours to bring the temperature back up to normal. Shouldn't it heat up the house faster than that? Is there anything I can do to make it heat up faster? Thanks for any help, Bill Vancouver, BC Canada

where does the electric pilot hook up to the furnace unit. It seems my pipe has moved over the years or the bracket may need to be replaced because the gas is coming out but the pilot is not close enough to ignite right away therefore gas is building up until that point. How can I fix the bracket that holds the pipe so it is closer to the gas and ignites right away.thanx
