i puumped up my tire but as soon i pump it it goes flat

You have whats called a flat. TAKE THE TIRE OFF AND REPLACE THE TUBE INSIDE WITH NEW ONE. If this is a daunting task, take tire and rim to local bike shop and they will be happy to fix for you. Good Luck....

What is the tire pressure required for a 700c Denali Model# ov52706?

Look on the sidewall of your tire and see what it is rated for. Also, do not go to a gas station to fill it up, go to a bike shop and ask them or buy a bicycle pump with a gauge. Always make sure that your tire is seated on the rim evenly or you will pinch the tube and it will blow up. Car tires have more volume so that is why you cannot use the same air pressure device. Your tire will say 90-120 lbs more that likely but your tires is not that big around.

how to inflate bicycle tires on a cannondale r400 road bike

Do you have a presta valve adaptor, if you go to your local bike shop and buy one and then you can use a regular pump. If, you want something good, you can buy a decent pump at the bike shop and it will come with the adaptor. Road tires should be checked before each ride as air escapes, and low tire pressure damages wheels, just like a car, use a tire pressure guage made for bicycles or your good pump with take a reading.

how to put air in the tires the stems are different

Your bike tube has Presta style valves. Automotive style valves are known a schraders. To inflate the tube, you will need either an adapter, presta to schrader or a hand pump that has a head for presta valves. Any bike shop will have one for sale. To fill the presta valve style, remove the black cap(if it is there) You will see little stem with a small knurled nut. Screw the nut all the way up until it stops. Put the pump head over the stem, making sure it is pushed down. Flip up the lever on the pump head, fill to desired pressure 100 to 120psi...yes, that much pressure, it's a road bike. Flip the lever on the pump head down and remove it from the stem. The PSST you will hear is the air from the line on the pump...not the tire. Screws the knurled nut down and replace the black cap. If you do not srew the little nut down and push on the stem you will let the air out of the tire. If you need more help, you can email me @ danklett@yahoo.com and I will send you pictures of the process, or the staff at your local bike shop should be able to show you how.
