You should not have to disable UAC or provide Admin credentials for this application (from a user acccount). It is a sloppy design that you can correct without making your system insecure.

Home Center triggers a UAC challenge because on EVERY startup, it atttempts to run its setup.exe to check for updates (It should have a menu item for this so YOU can control the check).

You can disable this check with a simple edit to the XML 'config' file used by AiO by following these steps:

1. Make sure you are logged in to an Administrator account.
2. Open C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center
3. Make a copy of the file 'AiOHomeCenter.exe.config' by right-click-dragging it to the desktop.
4. Rename the original 'AiOHomeCenter.exe.config' by adding .bck to its name.
5. Open Notepad.
6. Drag the Desktop copy of 'AiOHomeCenter.exe.confi to the Notepade window to edit it.
7. In Notepad, search for 'CheckForUpdateOnStartup'. Just below that line, you will see:
<value>True</value>
8. Change the value from 'True' to 'False'.
9. Save the file from Notepad
10. Drag the desktop copy back to C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center

If you encounter problems (you should not), simply delete the file and rename the .bck copy to get your original file back.
