Tip & How-To about Cell Phones

Improve battery life

We may have numerous problems with our battery life as charge would not last long. remove the battery take sand paper and gently rub the place where the battery conductor touches the phone charge point. this happens because carbon deposits in these points, removing this may lead to better battery life. it has worked for me.

camera immediately turns off after being turned on

I have owned three Kodak cameras, the last and recent one being the M1063. They all three developed the same problem within two months of ownership....."zoom lens will move in or out depending on original position(gets stuck in out position), and camera beeps, then turns off."

It was always sand/dirt/dust in the zoom section.

Hold the camera in your right hand, as if you are going to take a picture and gently tap the left side of camera against the hard, lower part of your palm.

You might have to do it a couple of times and you might have to be a little more than gentle. Just don't bang it hard directly on the LCD screen, just the left edge.

It always works for me. Good luck.

There is a contact in the upper left hand corner of the batt compartment. This has to touch the metal of the last batt.If your batts have paper around them scrape it off where it contacts that contact point.
