Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Problem in driver or installer of any type of computer hardware and peripherals

If you are experiencing problem in drivers or installers of your hardwares,
just for example : printers, cameras, scanners, motherboards, sound cards, video cards, lan cards, etc.

this is a tip that sure can help you...

first of all you need to know what si the brand of the hardware..

2nd what model, code, or something specific for that hardware...

after you get the above information you can now go to your pc or laptop that has internet connection... and try to search for it.. be specific first..

for example a4tech camera model PK-635m

type the word "a4tech Pk-635m driver" in google search then click search..

there will be many results as usual but you can choose exactly the right one on that situation..

just take a good look of the website under the highlighted hyperlink text..
if it is the site of the brand you need.. it will surely has your driver..
like for example a4tech their site is www.a4tech.com

in different situations like you know the brand but you don't know the model,

you can search for the brand site, and inside of it you can search for the products that are advertised by them..
try to look to it if you can see your product..

another situation,

you search for the driver and you don't see any links for your hardware brand.. if you are very sure for what type of product you were searching you can try some of the links that saying they have a driver of your product..but take note you always bare in your mind to search for a direct download link, or a mirror link, or a button that specifying for your product. not the one that is just advertising a new scanning hardware...or new hardware updater...

but if you really don't see anything you can directly ask here in fixya for your problem, and i'm sure many of technician like me will offer a free help for you...

i hope i had added a new technique for searching a hardware driver..

i had buyed a pc.but the sound chip gets bursted so i changed the sound card i buyed entermultimedia driver then i have no problem but when i installed windows 7 sound didnt coming because i changed sound card when i am going to install d sound driver it is not properly installing how to get out of the problem

You have to get the driver supported by windows seven. They differ depending on operating systems.
In the internet, specify the motherboard type and windows( in this case windows 7) and search for the drivers. E.g. type in the Google search box as follows without the quotation marks: "Mercury windows 7 audio drivers"
In this example, Mercury is the motherboard model name.

i reformat my computer after i reformat no sounds was being installed how can i do it

Isit onboard sound or sound card?

Just search your Motherboard number, example "Sound Drivers for Asus K7VM2"

Or do the exact same for your sound card, Example. "Creative Soundblaster Live Drivers"

Every Motherboard website and Sound Card Website have a website, where normally u can get drivers from, if not...another site will have the drivers.

can u brief me about drivers

Computer drivers are software programs. It helps a computer identify and run the hardware installed in it. For Example, without drivers the computer will not be able to distinguish between a sound card and a modem. Most devices on the computer need drivers to run. Computer accessories, such as printers, scanners and digital cameras also need drivers to function. All computer hardware and accessories that is purchased comes with drivers either in a floppy or a CD. The computer automatically loads the drivers when inserted in the drives. Drivers can also be downloaded from manufacturer's websites. You can download the most recent or updated drivers for a hardware.
