Reset you TomTom password.

To reset your TomTom device, do the following:

1. Check that the battery is charged properly.
Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again. Make sure the charging light on your device is on.

2. Remove the SD card
If your device uses an SD card, remove it.

3. Reset your device.
Use a straightened paper clip, or something similar, to push the reset button for 15 seconds. See the pictures below for where to find the reset button.

4. Turn your device on.
Press the On/off button for at least 5 seconds.

5. Insert the SD card
If your device uses an SD card, insert the SD card.

how do you reset the tomtom one


Hi,

There are two method depending on which version of the Tom Tom One you have (there are a few).

Method one
  1. Check that the battery is charged properly.
    Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again. Make sure the charging light on your device is on.

  2. Reset your device.
    Press and hold the On/Off button until your device comes on - shuts off and restarts. This can take more than fifteen seconds.

Method 2

Check the bottom of the unit to see if it has a Reset button which is recessed into a hole in the casing like this

If so follow this procedure;

how do you reset the whole entire thing?

Tomtom1 keeps restarting itself


try resetting it, if that doesnt work, connect your unit to tomtom home. if you dont have tomtom home, follow the link at the bottom.

my go 720 gps keeps freezing up
