Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Download from a paypal site without paying a penny!

Just a little basic html tip for those who are trying to download an application from sites which has an paypal order page & link to start you off.

Use a proxy when you try this to hide your IP as some sites will record your IP when you connect for security.

1) Right Click your mouse (ctrl+click) viewsource and open the source of the site in an a texteditor.
2) Search for the word "return".
3) Next to it you can find the url for the thank you page.
4) Copy the url and paste it in your browser and you will see the download link.

This works only if you can download instantly after payment, it will not work if the link needs to be emailed to you.

You can try it here to start with:
Code:
http://www.ramphelp.com/halfpipe.html

About half way down the page you will find:

Copy the link into your browser and download.

Good luck!

Why is is so difficult to login to paypal and load funds from a my cash my paypal account

paypal has a contact phone number or direct "contact us" section where you can get assistance from paypal staff
I use paypal for all online purchases and I use a slightly different system to what you are trying ti use but I have no problems with paypal at all
They have a facility where you can set up the account and it is linked directly to your visa or bank card so you do not have to find the section to transfer money to a paypal account
That means that funds are always in your account not paypal account. you know by checking your account balance at the bank exactly how much you can afford when considering a purchase before you make it
next ,when you make a purchase you use paypal and they take the payment amount out of your account and pay it directly to the seller., send you an e-mail showing the sellers name and amount within minutes of the transaction being approved
The seller then notifies you ,again with in minutes , that an order was received and paid for and will be advised when it will be dispatched
To me it saves a lot of hassle, finding what you want , and then trying to find the right site to transfer funds to paypal ( your principal problem)to pay for it
the web page you will want is www.paypal.com which has a log in,sign up,send money, help, area or simply go google and type in---paypal--

cant makeup a payment - coming with 'sorry youve hit a speed bump'

Hi there!
The speedbump is an eBay/PayPal issue (more on technical issue in the checkout process), you will need to contact eBay so that they can report your account to the technical specialists. You can use the chat link below to contact them: http://pages.ebay.com/help/basics/n-livehelpemail.html
or you can try to contact the seller and ask the seller to send you a manual PayPal invoice

ebay is sending my paypal money to somone else

Hi there!
If you are the seller please check the PayPal email address you have in the listing that you posted. you can do this by clicking the sell similar link in the item page then check the section to where you need to add the PayPal address.
If it's not correct, you can contact the buyer and ask the buyer to cancel the payment and then you can send a manual paypal invoice, you need to ask the buyer for his/her paypal email address.
If you are the buyer, check with eBay to why they are sending your payment to another member.
