First, the user will see a Unix prompt asking for the current user's password. Type the user password for the current user account. Press the "Enter" key. Next, Unix will prompt the user for the new password for "root." Type the new password for "root." Press "Enter." Finally, a Unix prompt will require a confirmation of the password. Retype the new password for root, and press "Enter." The Administrator (root) account password for Ubuntu is now reset or Boot computer into recovery mode. Reset your computer and as it is booting, hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard. You will be presented with the boot menu. Select "Recovery Mode" from the boot menu. It is usually the the second boot option. Wait for computer to boot up. You will be presented with the Recovery Menu. Select "Drop to Root Shell Prompt." Type "ls /home" and press "Enter." Note: The command starts with a lower case L, not a capital i. You will be presented with a list of usernames of accounts installed on the computer. Type "passwd username" where username is replaced by the name of the account you want to reset. For example, if the username of your account was "jeff" you would type "passwd jeff" and press "Enter." You will be prompted to create a new password. Enter a new password of your choosing. Note: You will see no visual response when you type in your newly selected password; however, the computer still will register the input. Press "Enter." You will be asked to retype your password. Re-enter the same password and press "Enter." Your password is now reset. Type "Exit" to return to the boot menu and select "Resume Normal Boot" to restart Ubuntu.

how do i change my email password


Login to your yahoo email and click on your username in the upper-right corner and select Account Info. You may have to retype your existing password again for security purposes. Then click change your password. Enter your current password and choose your new password. Save. That's it.

Please follow the below step for your problem.

For Change Email

Step 1: Open paypal

Step 2: Click Problem with login

Step 3: Click I don't know what email address I used.

Step 4: Enter up to three email address you might have used to paypal sign up for your paypal account

Step 5: Enter the code shown in the image

Step 6: Click Continue and follow the instructions.

For Change password

1. Log in to your PayPal account. 2. Click My Account at the top of the page. 3. Click Profile at the top of the page. 4. Click the Password link in the Account Informationcolumn. 5. Select Password. 6. Click Edit. You may be required to confirm your accountinformation. 7. Enter your current password 8. Enter your new password. 9. Click Save.
