I have a potential buyer for a listing in Craigslist, I am not sure I trust this person. They say they will pay through paypal and asked me to send my email account information. Is this different from my email address which is lynn@goldminerealty.com?

I can only address this based on my personal feelings. Others may tell you something different. I use craigslist quite often and I have one personal rule...If your potential customer EVER asks for personally identify information from you STOP! Never give any account information, personally identifying information, personal e-mail addresses, telephone numbers or anything else that might expose you to personal and financial harm, or Internet scams.

Use your basic instincts. If it don't feel right...don't do it!

I had a craigslist customer who wanted to buy a laptop from me. He actually had the nerve to ask me to send him the laptop and if it was any good he would send a check! I wrote back to him and said, "Send a check, if any good I will send laptop!" Case closed!
