How to stop windows from auto arranging photos in the pictures folder?

Question: I have photos in a particular order in one folder in order to upload to a video site. When I open the folder, they have been rearranged in alphabetical order. How do I change that? How do I tell it to leave them in the order I have them?

This is very annoying. You can spend hours organizing your file and photos in nice folders, all in order, and easy to find. However when you return Windows has rearranged all the files and folders for you. One way to stop this from happening is to disable the auto arrange.
How to disable the auto arrange feature in Windows Vista?

  1. Open your pictures folder.
  2. Go to the menu at the top and choose View. If you cannot see this menu click on the ALT key to see it.
  3. Then another drop down menu will appear. Look for Auto arrange.
  4. Untick Auto arrange to stop Windows from auto arranging your files and folders.

You can share your photos and experiences with friends and family via email.
Your computer's "My Pictures" folder is a handy place to save photos you receive from loved ones, giving you quick access to your photos.

The Songs aren't in the Music File

Not to worry, you can connect the ipod to the PC and slowly shift them to the music folders. Please connect the device, click on the device and open the various sections, click each folder and transfer files by cutting and pasting to the music folder. Do it slowly and you wil be able to rearrange all your files in order. Hope this helps you out. Good day.

how can i upload pictures and videos to my psp using pc?

What you do is plug you psp into your computer or put in the memory card and wait for it to show up on you screen.click open folder. If there isnt a folder for photos and videos then create one but make sure to capitalize the first letter of Photo and Video. Then when thats done drag the files over from your computer in the files that say photo and video.
