My nokia5230 camera result is very bad please give me solution.

Although you can make pictures with a phone, don't expect the same quality you would get with a real camera. The quality can be influenced in a negative way, because most phones are in a pocket, without any protection for the lens. So the lans can be scratched or smeared with grease.
Check if the lens is clean. Never try to clean a lens with fluids like alcohol. Only use a soft cloth, you also would use to clean your glasses, or a small type of lens pen. Check if there are any scratches on the lens, with a magnifier glass. To improve pictures taken with a phone, make sure there is enough light. Poor light conditions can be affecting pictures made by a normal camera, so a phone will be even more affected.

DVD Player is not reading DVDs. when switched on NO DISC prompt appears.

It could be cause by a dirty optical lens. You can try cleaning it by using commercially available CD OPTICAL LENS CLEANER. Just follow the instructions given by the manufacturer. If nothing happen and if still under warranty just bring it back to the store or to the authorized service center. If not try to follow this simple step before you call a local repairman. Sometimes a dirty optical lens cannot clean by a commercially available optical lens cleaner. (1) Unplug the unit from the wall socket. (2) Unscrew the unit to remove the protected cover.. (3) The optical lens is located in the middle section of the CD tray assembly. here is the picture. Never touch the optical lens because it may add more add more damage on the unit. (4) use a cotton buds and a drop of cleaning solution or a drop of water if you don't have... Clean the optical lens but do not push so hard, just enough touch... After you finish cleaning the lens just return the protected cover from its original position... then plug the unit again to the wall socket and try if the problem is solve... sony dcs-w370 cybershot hi, i didnt know that one isnt supposed to clean the lens with a cloth. i tried to wipe off a bit of dirt on my cam lens with my cotton t shirt. now whenever i take pictures, there is a small blur appearing on the pics. can my lens problem be sorted out if i take it to a camera shop or is my lens screwed forever? thanks

Welcome to FixYa.

Yes the lens can still be sorted out if you bring it to a camera shop. You can clean the camera lens but make sure to use a pure cotton fabric to avoid scratches. It might be coincidental but the blur might come from a moist inside the lens which can also be sorted out. Camera lens are not easily scratched or damaged just by wiping it with a cloth.

Thank you for using Fixya.

How to clean the focusing lens?

First question: where is the dust?
If the dust ist outside the cam: no problem. Try a soft brush and remove bigger particles, then take a thin microfibre cloth and clean the dust film on the lens. Be careful - every sand particle scratches the coating, so use the brush!
If the dust is internal it's more complicated.
May be the dust is on the focussing screen. If you dismout the lens, there is a litte lock on the top inside the cam. Do not open without having special tool. Each fingerprint on this little plastic plane is not removable. It's an extreme sensitive fresnell lens.
Don't try to clean that with cloth or brush. Only airflow is allowed.
If this dosn't help - use the Canon service or replace the focussing screen with a new one (as Example Canon EF-D).

my screen is blank can not see anything

do you have the lens cover open? do you get any error code or warning message? do this: make sure you have fully charged battery. close the lens cover.make sure cam is off.open lens cover by sliding it down until click is heard.if no go.close lens cover.make sure cam is off.remove the battery from cam for at least 15secs.reinsert battery.open lens cover until you hear the click.if no go try this. can you see the operational buttons and icons on the screen? if you do try to initialize the camera. touch HOME ->settings (looks like a toolbox icon) -> Main Settings (touch OK) -> [Initialize] -> [OK]. if it doesn't work service might be required.thanks :)
