how do get my admin. password that i forgot?

i have answered this before, not much! you either remember it or because you did not write it down somewhere safe, or save it to a flash drive or backup, you may have to restore the entire pc from system disks or backup(if you have them). this will wipe what was on the hard drive so that only windows system will be on it. if you don't have Windows disks, then you must buy Windows and install it from scratch. so sorry but let it be a lesson and be happy knowing you are not the only user who has had to do this. Manufacturers warn you to save passwords in safe place(keep them simple to remember)! BUT, many many people just don't do it.

how do i restore my computer to the factory setting

***Cation! SAve ANYTHING you want to keep from this computer right away. This process will remove ALL data from the computer!
If the computer can still be used:
While the computer is starting up, press the F8 Key (you can press it several times, no problem)
The start up screen appears with choices for safe mode, Safe mode with..., etc
Look for 'recovery mode' or 'Restore Mode'. Select this and the machine will restore itself to out of box condition.
If not:
This computer requires the recovery CDs that came with the computer. The recovery CDs are used to return the computer to an 'out of the box' condition.

You can order new recovery DVDs here.

can't restore emachine

Telephone eMachines, and order a replacement "System Recovery" set of CDs. Given the serial-number and model-number of your computer, they know what O.S. originally was factory-shipped with your computer, and they will replace that part.
Probably, a small fee for courier-shipping.
