Defrost light (red light) is on in heat mode and unit not working on heat. Has happened since a power outage.

Good Morning Ray,

I understand that the defrost light is on in heat mode on your Electrolux air conditioner, and your appliance is not working on heat. I also see that this has happened since you had a power outage. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging your appliance or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try any setting. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. If further troubleshooting is needed, please provide me with the model number of your air conditioner. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

We had a power outage now the T.V. won't turn back on, there are no lights on or blinking. I can't get it to show any signs of life. What's the deal please help!

Unplug the set for 2 hours then plug it back in. After a power outage when the power returns it will sometimes send tvs into a dumb mode, unpluging will reset the tv to factory settings and it should run just fine

After power outage microwave would not go back on

Have you checked the circuit breaker panel? That could be the problem. Also, with a power outage, when the power comes back on there can be a power surge which can affect appliances. The surge might burn out important components of an appliance. I would check the circuit breaker first. If it is not the problem, you could try unplugging the microwave and then plugging it into another outet. If it still doesn't work, you will probably need to take it to an appliance repair shop. If you've had it a long time, you might consider buying a new microwave.
Thank you for responding to my request for clarification. I hope one of these suggestions turns out to be the right answer for your problem. If it is, please let Fixya know by rating my solution. Good luck!

Won't come on after power outage

Hi,
Sometimes you have to unplug the monitor from the power supply and wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back in, and make sure you don't need to press the reset button on the power strip.
