Tip & How-To about Televison & Video
The Samsung 940MW Monitor/TV units have a known issue with the power supply, as do many LCD monitors. The problem is heat buildup in the case causes parts called capacitors to overheat and blow out, killing the power supply. The flashing power light or not turning on are the classic symptoms of this issue. Check out our web site at: www.ccl-la.com We have a step by step repair guide posted that will guide to doing the repair yourself. It involves changing a few capacitors on the power supply. If you can solder then you should be able to do the repair yourself. If you don't want to do the repair we do offer a repair service for $35 plus return shipping. If you have any additional questions just let us know at: email@example.com
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
