a problem has prevented windows from accurately checking the status of the lincense for this computer to procced your copy window must be activate with microsoft what can i do?

In these cases you have the option to verify the code by telephone.
You have to call Microsoft Helpdesk service and to give the helpdesk operator the code that you will see in the opened window. He will generate new code for you and you will have to enter it in the empty fields below. If your Windows is genuine the new code will be accepted and this will activate your Windows. I hope this helps you! Good luck!

need file path for os activation

To check the Vista activation status is easy. Users can simply right click on “Computer” on “Start Menu”, and then click on “Properties” on the right click context menu. On “View basic information about your computer” page, scroll down to bottom, and Windows activation status is listed under “Windows activation” status.

Another way is open up the Command prompt {Start > Run > CMD} & then type in slmgr -xpr and then hit Enter.

Hope this solves your query :-)
