i need to wire 3 woofers but 2 are dual voice coil and one is single voice coil

sure, if you wish to wire them all together, wire the first dual voice coil subs first voice coil negative to 2nd voice coil positive, second voice coil negative to single voice coil sub positive, and single voice coil negative to 2nd dual voice coil subs 1st voice coil positve (again with the second dual voice coil sub, run the first voice coil negative to the 2nd voice coil positve) your speaker leads will be attatched to first dual voice coils 1st voice coil positive, and 2nd dual voice coils 2nd voice coil negative)

i cannot find a diagram of how to wire a boss audio phantom p128dc dual voice coil subwoofer with there being 4 binding posts on each side of the woofer.

I will assume that you mean four posts total and not four on each side. It's a dual voice coil and you will need a jumper. Take a small strip of speaker wire and connect the positve and negative of one coil together. Take a close look, there is a dot on one positive and a dot on one negative. Jump these two together. Now wire the other positive and negative to the amp's positive and negative.

how do you wire l5 to 2 ohm

Hello lholt07,

If the L5 has 4 ohm voice coils, you simply wire both voice coils in parallel, both marked and unmarked positive terminals together and to the amp and likewise with the negative terminals. If the L5 has 2 ohm voice coils, it cannot be wired to 2 ohms.

Hope this helps.

on the back of my 10in subwoofer it has 2 seperate negatives and two seperate positves how do i wire this speacker to my amp on one channel.

this is known as dual voice coil, you will run a "jumper wire" from one negative to the other and the same with the positives, one of the connection points will have two prongs to connect to, when one of them is occupied with the "jumper wires", use the other connections to run wires from the sub to the amp and that should take care of the problem

Wiring woofers

Well, you have the 4 ohm dvc kickers, and your amp being stable to 2 ohms doesn't go together very well. If you wire the voice coils in series, and hook the speakers to the amp in parallel, you get 4 ohms, which doesn't use all the power your amp is capable of. If you run the voice coils and the speakers in parallel, you'll drop the resistance to 1 ohm, and probably fry the amp, or at least deal with overheating issues. Better be safe than sorry. You need to run each speaker in series, which means running a positive and negative to each speaker, and a jumper from those terminals to the opposite colored terminals on the second voice coil. Diagram can be seen here: http://www.kicker.com/06/tech-support/manuals/manuals/02SoloBaricL7manual.pdf That puts two 4ohm voice coils in series, and raises the resistance of each speaker to 8 ohms. Then, you have to run both speakers in parallel to the amp. When you run two 8 ohm circuits in parallel, the total resistance of the circuit is 4 ohms. That means seperate positive and negative wires to each speaker. If it is a mono amp, connect both negatives to the negative output, both positives to the positive output. If it is a multi-channel bridgeable amp, You'll probably connect the negatives to one side output (right for example) then connect the positives to the opposite side output (left for example). If you need to bridge your amp, make sure it is bridgeable, and also that you have the speakers bridged to the proper amp outputs. If not sure, reply back here with the amp model number, and maybe I can help you further. Thanks, and I hope this solves your problem.
