Tip & How-To about Cell Phones

Cellphone Repairs

I found at the flea market here that there are numerous cellphone vendors who not only sell phones & accessories but do repairs on all brands of cellphones. They even can repair water damage most of the time. The one I used charges $10. They have replacement screens and misc parts...usually from phones that no longer work and they will sell the replacement part at a very reasonable price. I send everyone in need to them and everyone has been more than pleased. My daughters friend's phone fell from a Ferris wheel and broke so much so that she figured it was unrepairable...it was a flip phone. Much to her amazement they put it back together for $10 and it was as good as new.

I would check local Facebook buy & sell groups for local folks who do cell phone repair. Or take it to a few large flea markets in your area. There are lots of folks who sell cell phone accessories and work on them.

where can i find the old style nokia 6210

In my country, 6210 are sometimes still available in "flea" markets. Often, they could also be purchased from cellphone repair shops. Perhaps you could try the same from where you are.

Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

pin number

The only way to get it going is to send it to Garmin. The PIN is a security lock and Garmin will only unlock and return it to the registered owner ... who is not you. This is to prevent miscreants from stealing them and then selling them at, erm flea markets. You DID ask for proof of ownership, manuals etc from the flea market person didn't you?
