If you have lost your owners manual and need a copy of it you can go here

With the help of these .pdf files you can get all the information that you need to install and troubleshoot your RTH7500D thermostat.
If you are replacing a thermostat make sure that you turn off power to your heating or air conditioning system BEFORE you start removing any wires. Failure to do so could cause you to burn out the 24v transformer of your system. Also make sure to mark all wires well before removal so that you know which wire went where and so that you can reinstall the old thermostat as it was if something goes wrong with the new installation.

For heat pump systems you WILL have to make some programming changes to the thermostat to get it to work with a heat pump system. Most all thermostats come programmed for conventional systems. This reprogramming is not difficult but is required for proper operation.

Dishwasher is not working

10 years is probably the full life of your machine. I'm guessing that the problem is in your electronic control board and that part, itself, runs around $100 plus. And, if you add a service call, you pretty much have the price of a new, basic dishwasher. And this is assuming that the part is still available for a 10 year unit. Should you decide to replace the dishwasher, look for a Best Buy in your area and keep checking the 'open box/closeout' section on the store's website.. there are often very good buys (for instance, a Phoenix store has a $850 Kitchen-aid priced at $432) in that section. There are also several online dealers that include shipping in their price. If you shop around, you can probably find a basic dishwasher - minus the bells and whistles - for well under $300. Good luck.

I RECENTLY DROOPED MY HAND SET AND IT BROKE NOW CANNOT GET THE TV ON

You should still be able to turn the tv on and control it manually with the buttons on the tv itself.

As for the remote, you can always buy a universal remote from any electronics store that you can program to work just fine with your tv.

They range in price from about $15 for a basic one to over $100 for a very fancy one with all the bells and whistles that will be able to control all the different components in your home theatre.

Good luck.

Honeywell programmable Thermostat won't hold time or program

Most thermostats use a six volt transformer for a power source, similar to a door bell, you can tell if yours does by looking at the wires that are attached to the thermostat.

The wires will be thin with just a single strand if you have these wires then you have a transformer, try and find the transformer (good luck) test it with a voltmeter if it fails the test that's it, if not, call the man. Probably it though.

question about which washer to buy

I just bought a new washer from Sears (Kenmore, front loading, huge & quiet--$850). You are not going to find a large washer, especially front loading for $399 or under. The new stuff has so many bells and whistles, never cheap to fix.

You can price shop for specifics at great websites like Sears, Home Depot, and Lowes. That will give you a better idea of what you can expect to get for the price you're willing to pay. You will probably be better off buying a good, used machine. Good luck to you.
