How do I upload music from a CD to my computer and then from the computer to my MP3 player?

It depends upon what system/version you're running and what software. Not sure about Mac, but PC typically has an autorun feature which auto opens your media and provides a selection to play or rip the music to your library, once you have inserted it into the drive. If this does not happen, you'll have to manually open it. In the lower left sector of your monitor, select the windows icon(Start), then select Computer. This will display all available drives to you. Find the CD/DVD drive and right click and run/open it. Your windows media player should then startup and give you an option to rip the music from the CD. It basically just copies it to your library without harming the CD. You then plug your MP3 unit into a port(usually a USB port). It too will have an auto run feature. If it's your first time plugging it into the PC, the system will have to search the web for software drivers for the MP3 unit before it can recognize how to read it. Once it finishes this, unplug the device and plug it back in to allow the drivers to run the autorun feature. If it still fails to autorun, just manually navigate to the drive the same as you did for the CD/DVD. Start>>Computer>>yourMP3 drive. The MP3 drive should display a manufacturers name. Then, find your music in the media library, right click/copy and right click/paste onto the MP3 drive (usually the Music folder). If autorun is working, it may offer you the option of importing the music onto the drive, rather than you manually copy/pasting it. Happy travels.

Use antivirus software like avast ,microsoft security essentials and scan your pendrive to remove your virus ..If you want to remove virus manually then FOllow these instruction
1)click start
2)then go to run
3)and type "cmd" in the text box without quotes
4)command prompt will appear
5)press enter
6)type "cd\" and then press enter to get into the root directory
7)Now assume that your pen drive has drive letter G type g: and followed by enter then
8)Type "attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf" and press enter. This will look for autorun.inf in the selected Drive.
9)Type "del autorun.inf" and press enter. This will delete autorun.inf virus from the selected Drive.

If this doesnt work and if you have newfolder.exe virus then try the software called SRT tools to remove it.

i am using a Transcend 8GB USB Pend Driver. when i scanned it, it showed me that, find "rahulvirusprotection.vbe". Hence i delete it immediately. After deleting the virus, i tried to access the pen driver. But shows that, "Can not find script file "G:\Rahul'sVirusprotection.vbe". Kindly help me to resolve this problem asap. Thanks in advance...

It is virus which uses autorun feature of the removable devices such as USB Pen Drive. These type of viruses usually have two files. (a) autorun.inf and (b) the executable (.exe) or script file. Some Antivirus programs delete the exe file but the autorun files remains. In your case, the exe file (rahul's virus protection.vbe) has been removed but the autorun entry is there, which is run everytime you try to access your pen drive. First, plug-in the drive and DONT OPEN IT. Open 'My Computer' , right click the pen drive and choose explore. (This would by-pass the autorun feature).

Download Flash Disinfector and save it to your desktop. Double-click Flash Disinfector.exe to run it and follow any prompts that may appear. The utility may ask you to insert your flash drive. Please do so and allow the utility to clean up those drives as well. Wait until it has finished scanning and then exit the program.
Reboot your computer when done.

(Flash_Disinfector will remove any autorun.inf files, create a hidden folder named autorun.inf in each partition and every USB drive plugged in when you ran it. Don't delete this folder. It will help protect your drives from future infection)

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!
Appreciate generously, if the solution could have been of any help!

Autorun file

is there and U3 software installed on the device? could you post the contence of th INI file for us to see?

it sounds like you have a program on the pendrive autorunnig when you connect the pendrive this could be some software that can with the drive from the manufacture or something more nasty like a trojan. if you really want to fix it copy everything you want off the drive then format it, this is the quick dirty way of fixing the problem but if you have a U3 style smart disk the autorun software will stay intact.
