How can I remove my facebook group permanently ?

If you joined the group and it still exists the all you need to do is click Leave Group link underneath the groups logo.
If you are the creator/admin of the group then this is simple but long winded but it does work.
If you want leave a group that facebook has banned for breaching the code of conduct or that has be suspected or being a virus like the infamous fancheck application which had the gid="107680294572" this needs to be requested via the facebook webmaster as you can't get into the group to click leave.

- Delete all the members from the group (if you have alot of members this can take along time)
- Then leave the group yourself as you will be the last member left the group will then be closed for you by the API.
