I got a code purple trying to restore my computer to its factory settings and now when my computer tries to boot up normally I can't log in using my old password or username and the only way I hav

With the code purple error on the screen, press the shift+f10 to open the cmd prompt.
Whe the cmd prompt opens, type the following command without the quotes "notepad C:\hp\bin\checkdmi\checkdmi.cmd", then after the REM lines add the following code without the quotes "goto cleanup". Save the file and exit notepad and restart your computer by typing the following command without the quotes, "shutdown -r -t 0".
This will cause the checkdmi function in an HP computer to bypass the tattoo check.
Hope this helps

missing taskbar and start menu

Probably your infected. to fix the problem u can visit kelly's korner and copy all the text and then go to notepad and paste the text and then save it as "taskbar.reg" and then after saving it run it. it will prompt you if u want to add the registry information and you say yes. see if that fix's the problem. if u dont know how to open notepad without the startmenu u can try pressing windows key+r and type "notepad" and press ok. remember to save it as a .reg file.
