Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

RECOVER UR MMC PASSWORD

I can't mention the source of this trick !! since i found this one in my text files, don't even remember when i created that file. trick works fine. all you need is Fexplorer or Seleq 1.6x+ . open the file manager, and open the C: in it !! Then search for MMCSTORE , using find option in file manager. open the file in text format. (to make this you can make its extension to .txt then you can read it.)

yes it contains your password !!
Remember once the phone is formatted the Password is lost. and hence the card too !

  1. Open PowerPoint 2007.
  2. Click the Microsoft Office Button and click Open.
  3. In the File name: box, enter the text in bold to display a list of the automatically saved files (if any). You can also copy and paste this text into the File name: box.

Can anyone explain how batch file works?

This is kind of tricky not knowing how familiar you are with the commandline, but a batch file simply contains single commands and executes them in order (usually from top to bottom). A batch file (or bash script in Linux) can be very helpful if you have to run certain commands over and over again, so you don't have to write them by hand.

An Example: You want to store your network settings in a text file.
You open the command prompt (WIN+R) and type this line:
mkdir C:\Network
Then you type this line:
ipconfig /all > C:\Network\ipconfig.txt
The first line creates a folder on your C: drive called "Network"
The second line runs the ipconfig command and saves it as a text file in that new folder.

To make a batch file, you open Notepad and insert the two lines. Then save it as "IP.bat" (make sure not to save it as "IP.bat.txt"! This is the most common mistake. If you save a file from Notepad, select "All Files" in the "Save As Type" dialog. Otherwise it will save it as a .txt file and you have to rename it later.)

Now you can double click the batch file and it runs all commands in the file.

You can also see the danger. If you run a batch file and don't know what it really does, it can destroy your whole system. So make sure you understand it and/or get it from a trustworthy source.

A nice example of how complex a batch file can be is here:
AllHelp.bat

Copy the content into a text file, save it as AllHelp.bat, run it and it will create a webpage with all available DOS commands.

Hope this helps - otherwise let me know if you have specific questions.
Enjoy!

Hi jjohnfixer The download works fine U can try for yourself this is in the web root http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac/demosong01.mp3 and i also created another directory with only the files that where included in the flashmp3player.zip you can try this to http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac//flashmp3player/mp3/demosong01.mp3 http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac//flashmp3player/mp3/demosong02.mp3 http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac//flashmp3player/mp3/demosong03.mp3 these where the files included with all the other files you can also try to run the http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac/flashmp3player.html or http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac//flashmp3player/flashmp3player.html I thought setting up a page with a link might work http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac/ I've tried clicking it from my own computer and still not working. I've tried setting up on my own web server and I still don't have any sound or files that play you can try this also http://mikes.tho.to:81/ I"m thinking that there is a corrupted file maybe I've even tried changing codes in the hml file but I'm not to sure what to do with it and I know that there are other file that rely on this HTM file but I rely don't know how that works. Thanks for the reply and if you got another ideas let me know please or other people have had this problem let me know how to fix it. thank you Michael

Hi, Michael. Okay, I found your problem. Your site does not have PHP enabled. To demonstrate, try this link:

http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac//flashmp3player/flashmp3player.php?file_dir=mp3

Expected:

A blank page which, when you view the source of the page, contains a list of filenames to play. That will be the source data for the Flash music player. It looks like this (again, when you "view source" in your browser): http://pastebin.com/EUeSbd8C

Actual:

Instead, you see the source code of the php page. That means the webserver is not actually running the PHP code, it's just treating it like any old text file.

You will need to find a way to enable PHP on your web host.

Create a file called "test.php" in your web root and paste in the little PHP snippet on this page: http://pastebin.com/BaUinLjs

You can use that to tell if PHP is working on your site. It should say just "hello world" and not show any PHP code when you load the page when PHP is enabled.

Hope that helps!

can not fine away to retreive two deleted file that came with the pc

Hi shorty 58, thank you for using fixya.

any file created in roxio creator can be found or retrieved even if it is deleted. This can be done with the use of a file recovery software. specific to most roxio created files I have gone through is Recover My Files. (just click on the link and use the free trial). You may run that on your computer and just look for the file created through roxio.

should you have other question, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Regards,

Voodoo
