This model is no longer listed under the LG Electronics Warranty Claims List. That would indicate that the warranty status of this monitor is now expired.
Another verification would be to look at the date on the sticker on the back of the monitor. Monitors will carry warranties varying from 1, 3, and 5 years. I believe LG typically carries a 3 year warranty. If the date on the back of the monitor is older than 3 years then it is certainly out of warranty.

I have blue dots on my 42" Sony rear projection TV. Also, on the left side is a long blue line about 3 inches wide and goes the length of the TV. This has been going on for the past 4 months and getting worse. Please help. Thanks

my plasma pn50c450 model onscreen displays 3/4 of the picture. displayed on the lower 1/4 of the screen is a black line. when viewing the tv the screen setting emulate a wide-screen picture setting and i am unable to modify the screen layout to correct the problem. the unit is approximately a year and half old. please provide your recommendations.


sounds like a bad panel, make sure the line is present on all inputs.
check using a DVD player and cable signal if available.
If always there you can try reseating the y buffer cables , replacing the y buffer, then the panel
call and see if they will extend the warranty if its the panel Samsung is a good company
