Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet
Whenever you run into a situation where you have no video, it can be frustrating cause it can be a number of reasons why its happening.
The most common cause of no video is that dust or dirt gets in the memory slots, sometimes you may not even see it.
The best way to handle this is to take the memory out of the slot. Take a can of air and blow some on the contacts of the memory and also blow some of the air into the slot as well.
This will ensure that contacts on the memory are clean and also it will make sure that the contacts in the memory slot are clean as well.
Then put the memory back into the slot, make sure it snaps back into place and then turn on the computer and you should have video again, this usually solves at least 80% of the problems with no video.
