Tip & How-To about Cell Phones
A password is a combination of alphabets and numbers attached to a device or some piece of data with a view to restrict its availability to all and sundry. Only those having knowledge of this combination will be able to access the device or data. We all know it and use this system of passwords. We also know that we all tend to forget the passwords sooner or later. And then rush to FixYa for help little realizing that if it was meant to keep others away how can you access without its knowledge. Let em assure you that there is no magic key to open any and all locks. Specially so in mobile phones where we have our private messages, pictures and videos etc. In mobiles, the only way out is to reinstall the firmware and thus loose all data that we started to protect with the use of a password. Could not find a bigger virus than us. Although there are site claiming to reset the password with the help of the IMEI number. Well, I have yet to reset any. IMEI and passwords have no connection to the best of my knowledge. The answer still lies in reinstalling the firmware. And what about our data. Well, it has to be lost. So!!! So, we must make it a habit of taking regular backups of our precious data that we want to protect. There is not short cuts to backup. Backup to your memory card if it is large enough, or to the PC. Also IF you have to use a password then choose such that you can never forget. If only numbers then you can reverse the order. Selecting a password is also an art. You just have to master it.
