Convert Videos made with Samsung SC-MX20 for use with Movie Maker

Videos made with the Samsung SC-MX20 are in Quicktime (MP4) format and are not natively compatible with any version of Windows Movie Maker.

To be able to edit your videos with Movie Maker, you must first convert them to a format Movie Maker understands. Follow the steps in this video:

This video describes how to fix the widescreen, but in the process it sets the format to mpg which is compatible with Movie Maker.

Dont want chapters on the saved disk

This feature was intended to keep your videos from getting too big to be used with your computer.

You can use a converter available here to convert your videos to a format that can be used by Windows Movie Maker, then combine them all that way.
