Tip & How-To about Televison & Video
It's something that i have repeated and that is pretty usefull because everybody can do this at home.
Sometimes it's only a matter of pressing on a button and everything is back to normal but it's not always that easy for everybody to get there...
To make sure your remote is fonctional do this test:
Open your radio and put it on a AM frequency, ideally just noise and not on a used frequency.
Approach your remote emitter to make a direct contact to the antenna.
Press on every button of your remote to test them all.
You will ear a buzz sound each time you press on a button. That means that it is fonctionnal. If one button do not make the buzz there is a problem with that button.
If it pass the test then the problem might be a matter of programming the remote. Sometimes you just have to press the component you want to use on the remote.
The remote utilise the am frequecy to transmit that's why it does make interference sound. (buzz)
It won't work on FM frequency.
