After downloading photos to my laptop the playback screen does not function on the camera. The screen is fine while shooting but does not function in playback. Any solutions?

The memory card may not be storing your photos.
do you transfer photo direct from camera or use card reader?
If card reader the memory chip might not be fully seated back in camera ( not likely ) or you might have formatted the card incorrectly after transfer.
if direct from camera did you properly remove camera from computer? Remember, just removing device without ejecting device sometimes results in errors. Any device connected via cord to computer is using a USB port and on your task bar you should see indicator , right click select eject device.
if that might be the case reconnect camera then properly eject.

how can i pull out my memory stick t of my cer laptop

The memory card is ejected by just pressing it in until you hear a faint click then letting go. The card will pop out by itself about 1/8 inch and you can just grab it and easily pull it out the rest of the way. A word of caution. If you have written anything to the memory card from your laptop, you should not eject the card until you left-click on the tool bar icon "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" then click on the pop-up list item to "Eject Mass Storage Device" which will reply with a "Safe to remove hardware" message. This insures that the contents of the buffer used for writing the memory card or stick has been completely written to the memory card or stick before it is removed. Because the card or stick is much slower to write than it is to read from the laptop's hard disk, there will always be a chance for an incomplete write causing card or stick corruption unless the "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" is used.

my flashvoyager memory stick is no longer recognized. I ejected the memory disk properly. Anyway I can recover any of my documents?

Files on a flash drive can be corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon and then click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flash drive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the flash drive you may need to format the flash drive, but you will lose the data stored on the flash drive.

Infected SD Card? or Computer?

This can happen when the card is removed when Windows is still accessing it. Even when you think you are not doing something, Windows could be. I am 99% certain there is nothing malicious on your system and the cause was early ejection.

To prevent this from happening next time, before removing the SD card try using the "Safely Remove Hardware" tray icon to safely remove your device. TIP: Do not remove any storage device (i.e. SD Card, Flash drive, etc.) if the light is blinking.

Happy computing!
