Reduce risk of overheating and plastic melting if lights stay on

Even though I have found a statement (I think it was in the LG troubleshooting FAQS on line) that the lights in the newer LFX25960 french door/bottom freezer refrigerator will shut off after a period of time to prevent overheating and melting the plastic housing, I have heard of this problem enough times to worry about it. So I replaced the two 60 watt bulbs in my refrigerator with 25 watt appliance bulbs just in case. They provide more than enough light and do not get as hot when on. It took a while to find them. They are made by Philips and were at Home Depot but not always in stock.
