Tip & How-To about Apple iPhone Smartphone

How to fix iPhone 7 frozen touch screen

Recently, I have seen several cases that their touch screen of iPhone 7 was no response/unresponsive, it is like being frozen. It makes a lot of troubles for those who have this problem. So, Vipprog wrote a wizard for this problem.
Step 1
Uninstall some troublesome Apps. Some apps that use actions on your touch screen may slow down your screen's working and you may receive some lags while operating your touch screen. If this is the cause for your frozen screen, then reinstalling the appor another app replacement will probably fix all the issues with your touch screen.
Step 2
Remove the case or screen protector (VC493) on your device, which might cause the screen not able to react to all of the sensitivities of the touch of a finger like it normally would.
Step 3
.Try to clean the screen (VC743) with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. It is best to wipe in a circular motion.
Step 4
Restart your device, which is considered to be the best and quickest method to solve the problem. If you can't restart it, you can force restart your device by pressing and holding the home button and the reset button on the top of the phone for a full 10 seconds until the phone resets and the Apple logo appears on the phone.
Step 5
Resetting your phone to its original settings, you can easily do it by simply connecting your iPhone to your computer and doing its reset using iTunes. If the iPhone 7 touch screen is still not working, move to the next solution.
If none of these steps work, then the issue may be related to physical screen display defects, in such case, a broken screen repair or LCD repair could be a perfect solution.
Note
1. Make sure to unplug your device when performing all the operations.
2. Make sure that your hands are clean and dry before starting all the operations. Any kind of moisture can affect the way the touch screen operates. Moisture sometimes slows the response time from the screen to the operating system.

How can I fix my phone if it is frozen

Hi Maria, what kind of cell phone do you use?

If you're an iPhone user and the device is crashed or frozen, the force reboot solution works well, but it can sometimes cause an unresponsive iPhone with a black screen that appears dead because it isn't responsive to anything.

Press and hold both the "Home" and "Power" button for at least 10 seconds. You can see the Apple logo and your iPhone will reboot. Your iPhone will back to normal again. Generally speaking, restarting your iPhone will solve the freezing issue and complete the iOS 9/8 update.

    2nd gen ipod shuffle non-responsive

    Step 1:
Like all electronic devices, iPods sometimes freeze and become unresponsive. Sometimes iPods lock up when they're dropped on the ground or come in contact with water, but less destructive accidents may also cause them to stop working. All versions of the iPod have a way to reset their hardware should they stop playing music or refuse to turn off.

Check the "Hold" switch on the top case of your iPod to be sure it isn't activated. An iPod will appear frozen and unresponsive if this feature is activated. A lock symbol will appear on your iPod's screen if it is in Hold mode. Switch the "Hold" button on and off once. Place one finger on the "Menu" button and another on the center button. Press both buttons at the same time and hold them for up to 8 seconds. Release the "Menu" and center buttons once the Apple logo appears on your iPod's screen. Try releasing the buttons and pressing and holding them a second time if the logo does not appear, as it can sometimes take several tries to reset a severely frozen iPod. Press and hold the top button and the center "Home" button on a frozen and unresponsive iPod touch to reset it. Hold the buttons for at least 10 seconds and wait for the Apple logo to appear on the screen, then release the buttons. Connect your iPod to its powerblock or a computer if it is still frozen. Wait 5 minutes and then try to reset it. Sometimes an iPod can appear frozen when its battery runs out and just needs a few minutes of power to start working again.
