How to change video frame rate

There might be times when we can't play a certain video because the media player does not support the frame rate. What should we do if we want to watch it? There are two options that can solve this problem. One is find a compatible player and the other is change the frame rate of our video. If you want to be practical, you will choose the second option. Obviously, it's easier to find a video editor that can convert frame rate than a media player that suits a certain fps. So, here is an example of video editor that you can use and steps on how to utilize it:

Step 1: The first thing you need to do is install Apowersoft Video Editor best video editing software on your computer. Launch the program and select the aspect ratio of your file.
Step 2: Click the "Import" button and then add the file you want to edit. You may also drag it to the main interface of the program. Once your file has been added, drag and drop it to your timeline.
Step 3: Go to "File" and select "Export" or click the export icon as shown on the picture below.

When a new pop up appear, click the gear icon on the Output settings.

Step 4:
Under "Video" section, click on "Frame rate" and select the fps that will suit your media player. Hit the Ok button and export your file.

Alternative:
You can also use these two alternative tools.
In the event that you have access to internet, you can use this free online tool as your video frame rate converter. Here's how:
Step 1: Visit the website of VideoGrabber and then select "Convert Video". Next, click on "Select files to convert". When you're prompted to download a launcher, install it on your computer. This does not affect your computer anyway.
Step 2: Select the file you want to edit. On the below-menu, click on "Settings".
Step 3: On the "Video" tab, drop down frame rate and select the right fps for your file. Press "Ok" button and export your file.
What's good on this app is that you can change the fps of multiple videos at once.
Another useful application that is lurking on your Windows PC is VLC. If you are using this one as your media player, you can directly convert your frame rate.
Step 1: Go to "Media" > "Convert/Save". Once a pop up box appears, click "Add" to insert the file you want to edit.
Step 2: Hit the "Convert/Save" button and choose "Convert" to open the convert menu. Click the icon with screwdriver beside "Profile" to open up the codecs tab.
Step 3: Proceed to "Video codec" and set the frame rate to your preference.
Step 4: Select the folder location of your file by clicking on "Browse" and then hit "Start".

I got an ZX-8051R-TLSK-T-V5.2 mp5 player with atj2257 chip. It doesn't play any .avi videos, specially "external" videos. I mean, the camera records .avi videos. With those, i have no problem. The problem starts when i try to play any .avi, that i've previously charged via usb cable. Thanks

The issue is with the bitrate and the frame rate of the avi formats made in another device or so ...The thing to be done is to take one that was made in this device and plays well ,and download it into computer ..and after that look at the properties by click right on it and choosing properties....and summary ...There you see all info about the format ..after that download a video converter and convert all files before you upload them to the device ...and make them have the same bit-rate and frame-rate as the ones that work ..Its a easy job and almost any converters have the ability to change the values...
I use a free one ...
http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/
just load the file by adding it ..and in the right side it has the formats to be converted..and even if it is also avi ...under options modify manually the values for the frames and bit-rate ..
have a nice day and dont forget to rate ..!

how do you down load movies

You need to find out what type of format your specific Mp3 video player supports. This should be outlined in the user manual or on the manufacturer's website. Once you find that out you will need to convert the file to this. There are a multitude of video formats. Sometimes the manufacturer will provide the software with the product but other times you will have to purchase it. If you do have to purchase it make sure you get a program that is flexible with multiple file formats just in case you get a different video player. Also you may have to tweek the format a little bit some players will play a certain file, say AVI, but only at certain frames per second. So don't get frustrated if the video you compress and download onto your player doesn't work it might need to be formatted at a different rate.... hope this helps

Can't get movies to play

Hello!

The error "Frame size too big." means that the video's Frame Rate is higher than the supported frame rate of your COBY MPC951. To fix this, you need to convert the video to run lower frame rate. You can use any video converter in the internet.

Cheers!

DOSES MY IAUDIO PLAY VIDEO

Yes it does, but the screen is small and the playback rate (15 frames per second) is slow for a fast action movie.

If you really want a video player with the same audio quality as the X5L, then take a look at the A2 from Cowon.
