Attention To Solve Paper James Of Transfer Roller

Sometimes you may be able to solve the common problems yourself in your laser printer if you know a little about the structure inside it, such as paper jams due to improper positioning at the transfer roller. Before the printing process at the fuser assembly, the paper has to pass through the transfer roller inside a laser printer that is used for transferring toner from the cartridge drum onto the printing medium. It works with opposing electrical charges to pull the toner particles.

Paper jams usually occur at the image transferring process, if the paper get stuck at the transfer roller, just open up the side cover and pull out the paper gently, don't touch roller surface without gloves when hold the ends of the roller, as the sweat and oil of your hand can pollute and damage the surface material.

pages have black dots and smudgy. In the booklet

You have a laser printer, so a prime and clean of the heads is impossible since there are no heads. I can only assume that you want to clean a few inside parts to solve your problem. You can do some light cleaning with the little brush located just inside the panel as you open your toner drawer, but this will not solve your problem either. Black dots and smudge are usually caused by a too moist environment, or from being placed too near an Air Conditioner vent.

Remember that your printer works by heat transfer and your laser. fuser and drum become quite hot. In a humid area such as a kitchen, this can mean that the drum will condense as it cools. This may also happen if it cools too quickly due to being placed near an AC duct or window AC. To solve your problem, move the printer to an area with no coffee pots, vaporizers, or other moisture producing appliances and do a warm up several times then a shut down to dissipate any moisture. Now remove the toner cartridge and shake it lightly side to side, taking care not to tip the toner cartridge on its end or turning it sideways. This will redistribute the toner evenly across the cartridge.
Reinsert the toner, and try printing a test page.
Remember that the drum is the hottest part of your printer, so take care not to touch it.

If the light is solid red:
1. Printer paper is jammed inside your printer.
2. A cover is not being closed properly.
3. Toner cartridge is not inserted properly & need to be reinstalled
4. Toner cartridge is running low
5. No paper in tray
6. Paper inside paper tray is not installed correctly

Non stop paper jams

I had this same problem. I finally noticied that the problem occurred consistently on the right side of the paper feed. I discovered that a little part along the right side of my drum unit (just inside the paper feed area) had disconnected and was loose inside the drum unit itself. Once this little part was placed back into it's rightful place, VOILA! Problem solved! Hope this helps!

fuser or duplex problem

Hi .. I'm afraid what you have damaged is the fuser unit. I know this because I may have done the same to my printer. It would appear that the glossy film melts on the photopaper and welds itself to the rollers in the fuser unit. I am currently trying to clean off the residue and hope there is not too much damage
