Tip & How-To about Miscellaneous
Are your automobile's power windows getting sluggish or binding? An inexpensive repair is with WD40 Silicone Spray. Not plain WD40 because that will quickly wash away. You must use the WD40 Silicone. The rubber in the track drys out and begins to bind. The silicone spray lubricates the rubber and resists water for a long time.
Lower your window(s) and spray front and rear tracks all the way from the top to the bottom. Wait a few moments then do it again. Now close and open the window(s). It should be operating correctly. If not, do it one more time making sure you have sprayed the entire track.
