In computing, PST (Personal storage table) is a file format of Outlook database used to store messages, contacts, calendars, notes, and other items related to Microsoft Outlook. When you accidently delete an item from Outlook mailbox, you can often recover it by restoring deleted items. But, when you delete an item using Shift+Del or empty the deleted items folder, then unfortunately you can't recover these items that have been permanently deleted.
Is there any hope to recover permanently deleted items?
Yes, you can easily recover hard deleted emails if PST file is still not compacted. When you delete an item from Outlook PST, then Outlook keeps the vacant space and removes the item from its Index file and the vacant space will be treated as white space. So, there are some chances to get deleted items back.
How to Recover Permanently Deleted Emails from PST?
You can use steps given in article to recover hard deleted emails from Outlook PST. And, for this you have to download Hex Editor as it plays an important role to recover the items. Firstly, corrupt the Index file using Hex Editor and then, use Scanpst.exe tool to rebuild the Index file. These steps will help you to recover the permanently deleted emails.
