How do you remove stains from bone china?

You have to be really careful when you clean your bone china. I have a teapot and teacup set that's really delicate and stains really easily. I wash the china in warm water with a mild dish detergent. I was told never to use scouring pads or any other abrasives like that. You can actually use nail polish remover on really hard stains but apply it with a cotton bud and make sure you rinse it off really well with soap afterwards.

white residue on dishes

This might be a problem with your detergent and your water, not your machine. Many state governments have recently passed laws that changed the ingredients in dishwasher detergents. Consequently, the detergents don't work very well in hard water. The dishes aren't dirty but they have hard water deposits on them. I created a product to solve this problem. It's all-natural, contains no phosphates, and it works great. It will make your dishes AND dishwasher look like new again. It's a powder. You add 1-2 tablespoons per wash cycle and you use much less of your normal detergent. So your cost per wash does not increase. CitriClean pays for itself! www.CitriClean.net

I spilled I tea on my Gateway FX keyboard and mousepad. The keys are working now but I'm worried they will get sticky. I cleaned up as much as possible by patting with a towel to soak up the tea. The actual mouse pad is not responding unless a mouse is plugged in. Is there a way to clean it myself without damaging anything?

Before you do anything, unless it is already dried, (turn it off first!) turn the laptop upside down and gently tap the back to coax any liquid out. Then do NOT turn it on until it is totally dried. You can clean the keys and pad it with a DAMP (NOT wet) cloth with plain soap and water. Be careful not to get any water down into the keyboard itself so it doesn't short it out. However this will not clean whatever liquid may have gone inside. Hopefully none did else you could end up with a bigger problem...

The internal base and tea leaf basket are tarnished from the tea. How can I clean them?

"The best tea pots are never scoured clean". Ask any retired tea drinker. The same with tea strainers. It improves the tea flavour to have a clean but not scoured out strainer. Have I saved you a job?
If you still want to and if the items are stainless steel, a scouring pad and washing up water will do it.

Cleaning black cooktop surface - what products to use.

It is recommended that you use a straight edge razor blade and push in one direction to remove anything stuck to the surface of a glass cook top. Stubborn, cooked on, substances can be cleaned by scrubbing with a light abrasive cook top cleaner and/or a green kitchen scrub pad. The green srub pads are considered non-abrasive and safe for cook tops. You can also use liquid dish detergent (such as Dawn) to break through grease and grime. DO NOT use steel wool, SOS pads, or any scouring powders. These products can permanently scratch or dull the finish on your cook top. If you have any questions please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.
