Tip & How-To about Apple Computers & Internet

Wi Fi MacBook Pro

If you see this message: "No Wi-Fi Hardware Installed" in your latter 2009 MacBook Pro, don't panic. You don't have to run to buy a new one :-)
The trick to fix this is to make a hard reboot of your laptop and ¡problem resolved! I did it in mine and it worked.

Hope in yours too.

my laptop shows an erroe message that says that the wi-fi adapter is not installed

If you have the installer CD, then reinstall the motherboard's chipset. If you don't, go to the manufacturer's website then download and then reinstall the drivers you need for your wi-fi adapter.

My MacBook Pro shows the message "Not Charging"

It could be either. Your best bet is to just take it to Apple and let them run a battery/adapter tester. That'll verify everything. Otherwise you can use a different battery and see if the same thing happens.
