Repair dishwasher drawer

When the insert of our bottom drawer broke in our dishwasher it was going to cost a an amount we could not afford to replace it so we bought plastic coated dish drainer that you use when hand washing dishes and put it in the drawer and made it secure and it is still going strong and this happened six months ago.

Will the deli drawer work properly without the glass door/lid? The pin broke off the right side and can't be fixed ... plastic broke off the actual drawer roller on the right. Cheap plastic ... disapp
Call in a repair man, it shouldn't cost that much. Yes, your food will be effected without that plastic door, as the drawer has controls and cold settings just for deli items. You need a special glue for cold. I'd call in a repair man, or order a new drawer replacement from the manufacturer.

Need plastic handle on Rival Crockpot lid.
For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.

LG LRFD22850 Replacing support grid for bottom crispers in refrig. Need help.
It is a challenge to replace those grids.  Instead of trying to fit the support grids into the frame, bend the frame slightly to fit the grids.  You will need to remove the steel support from the frame before bending the frame.  That is what I have been able to do when I have those problems.
