My Zanussi TE962V is causing black marks/stains on all my whites. I tried cleaning it with a vinegar solution, but it seems to have made the problem worse, not better. Is there another way I can clean the inside? Or is their a way I can take the drum out, clean it and replace the drum? Thanks

    Hello,

Feel around the underside of the bellows seal near the drum. If you feel debris there, wipe as much of it out with paper towels as you can, then wipe the surfaces down with 50-50 bleach water, inside surfaces, and outside surfaces. Pour 2 cups of bleach into the tub, and fill all of the dispenser cups with bleach. Put just a sprinkle of soap in the tub, and run the hottest cycle available with the hottest rinse cycle available (for most, it is the "sanitary" cycle). When that cycle is complete, run a normal cycle to flush out any bleach residue.
Between wash cycles, leave the door open. This helps the machine dry out between cycles, which reduces the build-up of germs and molds in the washer.
If this cleaning cycle, and the drying effect of keeping the door open does not eliminate the problem, you may wish to replace the bellows seal.
There are other options, but try these first, as they usually do the trick. If you need to go deeper into it, all you need to do is re-post, and we'll all be right here, ready to help.
    Best regards, --W/D--

Our Hoover Mach3 Cyclone has lost most of its suction. The person that cleans our home weekly has stopped using it, and brings her lightweight Oreck to use. It hardly picked up any Christmas tree needles on the floor today. We empty the canister after each use.

If I remember correctly, this vac has two filters, and each needs attention every now and again. The main issue is normally the unit above the dust cup. Once the dust cup is removed, you should be able to see another filter at the top. I dont recall if tools are needed to remove this filter, but I dont believe it does. Remove this filter, and tap it outside to release any loose particulate. If there is a screen inside the filter, use soap and water and rinse well, let dry and re assemble unit. The cone shape diffuser in the main unit could need to be tapped a bit outside on a solid surface too, just to get more particulate or hair stuck inside it, out of it. There is one other filter, if memory serves correctly, it is a HEPA filter, and this is removed on the outside of this machine, near the bottom beater bar. If you do not have a replacement, take this outside and tap on solid surface, to free some of the particulate off of it. Please rate my knowledge and helpfulness, if this works or not! Good luck!!
