1. Product. Write the make and model of whatever item you are asking about in your question.
Examples: 1998 Ford Ranger 4x4 4.0L auto (transmission), Samsung LCD TV model # XXXXXXXX, Motorola Talkabout Txxxx radios, Lenovo T400 laptop, Pioneer P4300 car stereo, Stihl FS-80 brushcutter, etc.
. The more information
you can provide about the product AND
the symptoms will help narrow the possible solutions to your problem and get the best results.
. Try searching the site before asking a question. Many questions have been asked and answered (multiple times) already.
. Try to put your question into the correct category (or as close as possible). Asking a question about cars and putting it into the cooking category will bury it, with little chance of it being answered.
. Don't ask the same question multiple times over a short period. People answering questions tend to not bother when they see the same question asked by the same person (or anonymous) minutes from each other. We're not being paid, so there isn't always someone who may know the answer "on duty."
