HOW TO CHANGE THE XEROX PHASER 7800 MPT ASSEMBLY

You might have to change this part if you are getting the following errors:

-Mpt is not lifting any paper to the feed rollers
-375.100 Tray 1 Miss Feed
-375.103 Tray 1 Feed Out Sensor Off Jam
-375.212 Tray 1 Nudger Up Down Fault
-(Check condition of feed rollers and make sure no paper or foreign substance are on the paper path)

paper will not feed. the lift tray does work. 1.5 to 2 inches of the top of the paper feeds before it stops. when i used count only still get the same problem with


A01 is pickup error. Clean the paper sensor in the paper lifting tray and try. Clean the rubber rollers also.

I have a Hp Printer Mfp4345 with error message 13.01.00 I tried changing Rollers,and all the sensors and paper path is in good condition..I noticed that the tray is not lifting and i even replaced Lifting motor..please help me..


In DIAGNOSTICS menu select "paper path sensor test"
Pay attention to E, it refers to "tray 2 pre feed sensor".
You say that you " tried changing Rollers,and all the sensors".
I'm confused, does that mean that you tried and couldn't change the sensors.
You could also have a bad paper tray.
Did you also try and succeed in changing the tray 2 jam access door roller?
13.01.00 means that the pre feed sensor never sensed paper, so either the sensor is bad or the paper never fed out of the tray. Try a different tray.

This error message indicates a lifter malfunction has occurred. When the 2000-sheet input tray (Tray 4) is closed, the paper deck lifts the paper stack until it is just below the feed rollers. Photosensor flag PS34, the paper surface photosensor, determines when the paper stack is lifted into the feed position. When PS34 does not detect paper in the expected time, the printer reports a 66 error. SOLUTION: Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
  1. Turn the printer off, open and close the tray, then turn the printer back on to see if the error clears.
  2. Open the drawer and check for extra paper or items stored on the left side of the tray. This will prevent the tray from lifting due to excess weight or blocking the lift of the tray.
  3. Remove all the paper from the tray. Remove the tray guides and reseat them. Verify the guides are not bent or broken.
  4. Lift the paper deck manually to verify there are no obstructions in the path.
  5. Pull the tray out as far as possible and observe the white bushing on the back right side of the tray. If the white bushing is broken, the tray will not lift properly.

Most likely you will have to replace the feed rollers. 1-800-828-5881 and follow the prompts.
