Tip & How-To about Miscellaneous

To find an area, measure the long side of the item, then measure the short side of the item. Multiply these 2 sizes together to get answer. Note that if you measure in meters you will get sq meters and if you measure in feet you will get sq feet.

your measurements are in different units, say **feet** and **inches**, you can first convert those values to **feet**, then multiply them together to get the **square footage** of the area. If you are measuring a **square** or rectangle area, multiply length times width; Length x Width = Area.

Open the refrigerator door. Measure the depth of the refrigerator

from the front edge of the refrigerator opening to the back wall. Make sure that you measure in feet and not in inches. Note the depth measurement on a piece of paper.

2 Measure the height and the width of your refrigerator's opening. Note the two additional measurements on your paper. Multiply the depth, height and width measurements to obtain the refrigerator's cubic foot measurement.

3 Take the same measurements from the interior of the freezer. Multiply those measurements together to get the cubic foot size of your freezer.

4 Add the cubic foot measurement of the refrigerator interior to the cubic foot measurement of the freezer interior. This gives you the total cubic foot measurement for the refrigerator.

Well you either provide a make and model number rather than just say 'what size is this', as there is no 'this'. Best way is to look for the specs on Google. Or you take a tape measure and measure internal width and depth, multiply them together and then multiply that figure by the height. Measure in feet, and your answer will be the answer in Cubic Feet.

For your home. Measure back to front and side to side in feet. If your home is 60 feet by 80 feet, you multiply the two numbers together and then multiply that answer by the number of floors.

The bedroom, you just multiply the width by the depth, so if it was 21 feet by 12 feet, 21x12 would be 252 square feet.

I chatted with someone at Sears. They told me it is approx. 22 cu ft.

Alternatively, you could measure.
