How to fix iPhone 6 Red Screen

I've heard of iPhone black screen ***** many times, which mostly happens when the iPhone gets overheat or some iPhone applications crashes. But have you ever encountered an iPhone 6 with a red screen after a firmware upgrade? If you own an iPhone 6 or any other iPhone model thatis characterized by such matter, then you must wonder how does the problem occur and what are the remedies?

It might be hard to identify what exactly caused the iPhone Red Screen of ***** issue because it usually comes out suddenly without any reason. And many of us might try to switch off the device and then switch it back on gain later hoping it will work. But if that doesn't work, then you have to consider it as a serious hardware problem.

So, what are the possible solutions of dealing with an iPhone 6 read screen?

1. Get iPhone into DFU Mode
This will erase the previous firmware update, and try a new firmware recovery. Make sure that you are running the latest iTunes on your computer.
l Launch iTunes and then connect iPhone to computer with the USB cable.
l Switch off the iPhone.
l Hold and press the "Home"and"Power" button at the same time for 10 seconds, and then let go of the "Power" button but keep holding "Home" button until you see the iTunes detect your device.
l When your device screen goes black, then you've entered DFU mode successfully.
l Follow the restore procedure through iTunes

2. Try a Hard Reset
If the first solution fails, the next best option you can do would be to do a hard reset on your iPhone. Hold the Power and Home button simultaneously for 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. If the iPhone reboots normally, then problem solved. However, if the iPhone refuses to come back to normal, then try the last method.

3. Restore iPhone to Factory Settings
l Make sure that you've backed up iPhone data to iTunes/iCloud previously.
l Connect iPhone to computer via the USB cable, and then select your device.
l Then click on "Back Up Now" button to back up the iPhone data.
l Now hold down the "Shift" button and at the same time click on "Restore iPhone" in iTunes.
l You will see a pop-up appear, select the firmware ipsw file from the hard drive
l Now, a message from iTunes will show up saying that if you want to restore the iPhone to its factory settings. Click on "Restore" to confirm your action.
l You need to wait until the process is finished.

Note: You may lose important data when you try this solution. So it's important to back up your iPhone beforehand. Once the data got lost or missing, you can use iTunes/iCloud or tools like FonePaw iPhone Data Recovery to get data back from iPhone with red screen.

There are other options available if the iPhone red screen won't go away. For example, if your iPhone is under warranty, you can head out to the Apple store and have your iPhone checked. But if the warranty period for your iPhone is over, you'd better have it repaired by some other professional technicians.

my iphone screen is completly black i've tried holding the home and the off button down at the same time and its still not working wtf . i really need help !!

Hi, this happened to me once and I researched a fix by looking for 'iPhone black screen of death'
Here's one of the current articles that comes up under that search:
1) If an application (such as Safari) is frozen, just press and hold the iPhone's home button for about 5 seconds, or until the home screen shows up. (This didn't work for my iPhone so we had to perform a soft reset).
2) To perform a soft reset, press and hold the iPhone's Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for several seconds, or until you see the apple logo on the screen. (This action did reset my iPhone and I was very happy at this point). The guys that helped me said that continually performing soft resets can cause problems however.
3) Hard resets are not recommended, but are required when a soft reset won't do the trick. The Apple Geniuses wouldn't tell me the key combo to perform a hard reset because it restores the iPhone to a state that's unusable. Users risk losing data and you must synch your iPhone with iTunes to make it function after a hard reset.

Also, if you are not turning off apps after use they could be overloading things and might cause it to happen again. to turn off apps do a double tap on the 'Home' button, and all your open apps will be listed along the bottom of the screen. press on one icon and hold until the icons start to wobble and have the X in the top right corner click on these to turn them off. Its also good practice to do this several times a day if you use a lot of apps because having ghem open eats up your battery power.

I've heard that there are some screen issues with the iPhone 5, have anyone experienced any of them?

I personally didn't have any screen issues with my iPhone 5 although a friend of mine told me that he have experienced a bubble effect. When he presses the phone, no matter where, there were a certain spot on the bottom of the phone that glowed in a bubble shape, you can watch the attach video to see is you got the same problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4kYbiygU6A&feature=player_embedded

My IPhone 3G crashed a couple of weeks ago & the Apple store restored it back to basics. I restored it to my last back up but now I cannot get my Jawbone to pair up. I have tried the correct way. It flashes red/white/red/white etc until the battery wears down on the Jawbone. It says discoverable & searching but nothing HELP !! Thank you Erica

Clearly it was something on your back up that made it crash the first time.
Next time you restore it from the apple store don't reinstal your back up. Best bet is to start over. I've had that happen to me a few times, and it was an app that I installed that crashed.
