Lavalier microphone usually breaks by the cable, near the clip, 'cause talents mess with it during shots. here you will understand how to fix it.
Don't know what is the brand of this mic, but if have one that is similar, quite shure it will be fixed in the same way.
Detach mic from body pack or by phantom power injector.
Cry for the mess your collegues make with mic cables ...
Detect the problem ... in this case is clear u have to cut a piece of cable and resolder the capsule
with two pliers, gently twist the two pieces of the capsule to unscew it.
Now you have access to the mic PCB, solder points etc.
When you will cut the damaged part of the cable remember to re-set screen and vibration pad in the same order like it's now (use that hoto as reference).
Take note of where shield and signal are soldered (mic do not work if reverse biased or works very bad ... and could be damaged)
Desolder the cable and cut the damaged part.
Strip the cable tip (and recycle the plastic cover to insulate ground shield.
Pre-solder signal and shield tips.
Set on the cable bumper and screen NOW (if you removed them) :D
Carefull position cable in correct position (remember the polarity you noted before).
pre-soldered tips touching the right pcb position.
Gently position soldering iron on the tips. Soldering on both sides (cable tip and pcb) will fuse and make the electric contacts.
It's time to re-assemble the whole thing.
Make a knot on the cable or use a cable tie to add mechanical strenght to the cable :D
Now your mic is (quite) new. Connect body pack or the phontom power injector and check it on your equipment.
Happy fixing :D
