Tip & How-To about Moultrie Panoramic 150 Trail Camera

Moultrie Panoramic 150 Trail Camera freezes or stuck in unlock mode

This unit is quirky, but has a robust user menu. The biggest problem is the security code entry mode sometimes gets stuck, and you can't get into the programming mode. Other modes get stuck for various reasons.

Here's a little inside for problems entering into the programming mode for the P-150

If you enter your security code, and the screen freezes and won't unlock, get this.
It took me a long time to figure this out, and nothing in the manual or online will help you get unstuck from the security code mode.

A little something on the side first, so take note when considering purchasing this beast:

Customer service at Moultrie is almost non-existent, and they refuse to attempt any repairs on cameras past it's warranty period. Nice, huh? End user, end of the line if you have a dead stick past the one year warranty, and no repair facility. Nothing like getting stuck with a $250-350 unit and no repair capabilities from the manufacturer. People working the phones have attitude, so nothing like adding insult to injury. If you forget you security code, try calling customer service for an unlock code bypass
zzzzzzzzzz....................

Try the following fix. May cure problems with menu items getting stuck too, just not sure. Problems with getting out of the security code mode, freezing up:

Your memory card is unformatted.
Your memory card is bad.
Your memory card has bad sectors or unreadable.

Take card out of camera. Load it into your laptop, and click icon. Windows will look for drive errors, and ask permission to repair.

If the card is bad, it will tell you. If not, click yes and wait for completion.

I would format the card in your laptop, not the camera format option. Just a thought.

Hope this helps folks out there, it took me several attempts over a year to get back into the programming menu, having to settle for that ridiculous Panoramic Hybrid default mode because I couldn't enter into the unlocked programming mode. Sure hope this helps hunters out there

i forgot my nokia c1-01 security code

The default code supplied with the device is 12345. However, it is recommended to change the default code to your own. The instruction on how to change the security code is provided in the user guide or Nokia Web site.
Keep the new code in a safe place separate from your device.
If you get error notifications after 3 consecutive times security code entries, reboot the device and wait for 15 minutes, then try again. If the problem persists, contact your local Nokia Care Point.

I need a remote for my RCA DVD player, model DRC282. I haven't had much luck with a couple of universal remotes. Any help would be appreciated.

Just try a code search process. Sometimes it might help you:
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

Hello
Try a code search method. Sometimes it may halp you.
Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.

OK.
