Mobility Scooters

If your scooter has power and the horn works, If when you sit on the scooter you can push with your feet backwards on the scooter. Then you have to check your freewheel lever because it is unlocked and won't drive.

Can you help me try to figure out why my scooter will not move forward or backward? It is fully charged and the horn works.

I would get the batteries checked for power. Just because your charger shows fully charged quite often the batteries are low but enough power for lights or horn which does not take much power. i suspect bad batteries.

I have got a tga breeze mobility scooter. I charged the batteries as it was not used for a while the display showed up grey put in the key. The indicators & lights etc didn't work but the scooter would move well backwards and forwards and the horn ok. Pushed the reset button no change. Can you help please? Thanks.

If the scooter functions OK backwards & forwards and drives the distance you require, then i would hazard a guess at the PCB in the tiller head, paired with BDI (Battery Display Indicator).
Batteries on the Breeze are most likely 70-100ah, and ideally must be kept charged, either after use or at least once per week if you are not using it. Failing to do so will end up costing a lot of money :-)

We have a Fortress Scientific 2000 electric scooter that hasn't been used for several years. We put in new batteries, it shows fully charged, comes on and has a steady beep, but won't go forward or backward.

Your break release shifter is in the push the scooter mode. Put it back in gear and the horn doesn' beep and it should run..
The horn beeping is the alarm to tell you the break release is on.

It is usually located under the seat on the body of the top of the battery housing. Looks like a stick with a ball on it.
