How to fix a noisy bannister

If your staircase rattles [wood railing] when you grab the handrail...it can be easily be fixed by.... dipping a round tooth pic in white/yellow glue, insert it between the top of the picket and the hole in the rail and push it in until it begins to wedge, then the trick! Break the toothpick but not completely, then push the toothpick deeper so as to complete the break deeper inside the rail for a clean look. Also: you can find the loose pickets/balusters by tapping the side of the rail and holding and listening as you go along.

I need a product to glue 2 wood pieces together of a broken statuette.

white glue is good but the pieces will need to be held tightly together for at least 12 hours and more would be better up to about 24 hours. Any excess that runs out can be easily wiped away with a wet cloth etc.
