I have windows 7 Home Premium and want Windows 10. How do I download and run it?

You should see a notification icon (the 4-square) in the bottom right taskbar like this image. you will only be offered it if you have a genuine registered copy of Windows that is eligible for upgrade.

You can also access via the Microsoft Windows 10 website.

Will my printer still work if I upgrade my computer to Windows 10?

Virtually any Windows 7 or 8 desktop/laptop qualifies for a free upgrade to Windows 10. Will your printer work? You do not state the printer you have so I cannot answer that, however if you check the manufacturers website they should have a download driver for Windows 10 if it supports it. Or go to the Microsoft Compatibility website and check for your devices. http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/Home?Language=en-CA

I can't use my DCR IP210 as a video cam on Vista 64bit. Vista is not recognizing it. PS> I have usb streaming on.

well from this site, it looks like your current operating system is unsupported for that camera.
HOWEVER, from that site, i would try the windows 7 driver for the windows type you have, and go from there.
worst case scenario, vista is completely unsupported. however this does not mean you cannot use the camera in some way. if your laptop was purchased by you, you still have a recipt, or have a way to track the recipt, in most cases you will be qualified for a FREE windows 7 upgrade kit. ' if you do not qualify, there are other ways around this from either making your own driver, or purchasing an upgrade kit (most can be found online for cheap, if you are a student it will cost $30 which is cheap) and the upgrade will transfer all of your data over to the windows 7 installation.
i wish you the best of luck, also please do not pirate if you do decide to do an upgrade. hundreds of coders spent years developing this operating system and deserve to be paid for their work

Free upgrade to Windows 7

Hello and than you for using Fixya's services.

To qualify for your free Windows 7 upgrade, visit your computers manufacturers website (dell.com, etc.) Register your product and look at your account. To qualify, you must have purchased your PC within the last 6 months and it has to have Vista Premium, Business or Ultimate to qualify. When you look at your account, it will let you know right away. You will need to scan the purchase receipts and send to manufacturer via email (they have a form). If approved, they will send the DVD or make it down loadable. You may have to pay for shipping and handling.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
