Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

For those who continue to use Windows Internet Explorer (IE)

If you're surfing the web via IE and you encounter a lot of web crashes or pages popping up for no apparent reason, it's because Microsoft no longer provides support for that particular browser... You may want to consider installing a new browser before IE is completely gone. Take a look.

my problem is:it pops up, sorry for the incovenience , internet explorer has encounter a problem

This is likely because you are using the older version of the browser, you can get the latest version from here:

If that doesn't fix it, download and use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. (click on names to download)

These two are the most popular free browsers available and about 90% of internet users use one of these two browsers instead of internet explorer as they account for a much better browsing experience through more stability (less crashes), more speed, and ease of use than internet explorer can provide.

Hope that I was helpful. Have a good day and happy surfing!

IE6 Crashes when loading Gmail! Help!

It might be that Google are blocking IE6- they got hacked recently and it was apparently traced to people using IE6 in Google that were hacked through one or several security holes of the many in IE6.

If upgrading isn't an option, how about a different browser?  There's lots of free ones to choose from, and there's no rule that says you can't run as many browsers as you like.  Opera (my personal choice); Firefox; Chrome.  There's lots.

when i use the IE8 for surfing n working on some important pages the system gets restarted offen... pls suggent any solution for tis as soon as possible. pls

the main reason that ie keeps crashing is because more and more web pages are becoming more dangerous which ie tries to avoid. here are a few suggestions that will help though.
don't open more than 6 ie windows at a time.
Block 95% of popups
Don't open too many applications at a time when running ie.
Increase your Internet Security
stay away from Spyware
Clear up your Startup Programs

You always have the option to download Firefox which seldom crashes and seems to avoid most virus and some spyware automatically. Firefox has a cookies tab in privacy that you can set

constantly encountering an error and needs to close

I think, its some Add-on which is creating this problem in IE.

Please check the Add-ons in the Tools "Manage Add-Ons" Menu and try Enable / Disable for the Add-on which you think is not required for your IE.
