Tip & How-To about Android Huawei

Booting Most Android into Recovery Mode (Hard Resetting)

Usually you can boot into recovery mode by following these steps:

  • Turn off you device.
  • Then, reboot by pressing the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously.
  • Keep the buttons pressed for a short while - a few seconds - and then release the same.
  • The recovery mode menu should be displayed.
  • Note: on Samsung branded devices the recovery mode can be entered by pressing the Power, Volume Up and Home buttons at the same time.
But if the procedure from above isn't working for your Android device, then use one of the following methods (the first one is for rooted handsets so be careful and try not to mess things up as you can end up in bricking your smartphone / tablet).

you need to boot into recovery mode to wipe the data partition. Doing this will reset the phone's data partition. Doing this will delete all data off the device and return it to the same state it was in when you first powered it on.

  1. completely power off the phone
  2. press and hold the power, volume up, and home buttons until you see the Samsung logo
  3. use volume up/down to scroll and power to select
  4. scroll to and select wipe data/factory reset
  5. select yes on any following prompts
  6. reboot device
If the above process does not work on your device, see alternate methods to boot into recovery mode in the following link.

i'm trying to reformat my laptop but it's not booting up in DVD drive..how can i fix this problem..can you me how to do it to boot up in recovery disk?

Hi tech_sup156 ,

Please follow the below steps:-

  1. On the first screen , press Del or F2 when you boot your computer so that you enter BIOS mode.
  2. In Bios mode search for boot mode or boot devices priority and choose the first boot drive as your DVD - RAM drive.
  3. Now save the changes and exit BIOS and you would find the next time you reboot the PC , it will ask you to book from the DVD - RAM drive , only on the condition that the DVD is a bootable DVD , as usually found in case of genuine windows operating system dvds/cds.

Hope this helps , your feedback would be appreciated.
